About Us
GapBridge Nepal began in 2015 in response to the devastating earthquake that affected communities across Nepal. Our early work focused on supporting families in Kavrepalanchok, Sindhupalchok and Nuwakot by helping to build temporary shelters and providing essential supplies to people in urgent need.
As we continued working with local communities, our activities expanded into education and social support. We helped construct classrooms for children from disadvantaged families and provided assistance to vulnerable people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, GapBridge Nepal also supported vulnerable individuals and families who were struggling to meet their basic needs.
Today, we continue to work closely with local non-governmental organizations, Buddhist monasteries, youth clubs, schools, hospitals and community groups. Through these partnerships, we arrange meaningful volunteering, internships, medical electives, teaching placements and cultural experiences across Nepal.
